De Dept. of culture of the City of Zottegem (Belgium) under the enthousiastic management of alderman, Dirk Van Herzeele, had strong believes in the Song City project of Luc Standaert. They soon decided to support this event both financialy and logistic wise. The practical organisation was put in the hands of Pink Productions (Chris De Brakel).

Director Chris De Brakeleer, a multiple active musician, who's made name as booking and promotion agent, a&r and producer for companies s.a. CNR Music, Vogue France & Stiff U.K.

Concept idea / artistic coördination: Luc Standaert

An experienced music publisher with lots of international success stories and an impresive directory. Was head of Polygram & Universal Publishing Belgium for almost 10 years. Is now in charge of the publishing dept. of VRT (National Radio & Television).

Luc previously has organized songwritersweeks on a Benelux level which has resulted in the past into a number 1 chart postion for Ruth Jacott's hit 'Leun op mij' (Lean on me).

CEO Jan Hublau, used to work as marketing & pr man, productmanager and MD for companies s.a. CNR, Play It Again Sam, Zomba / Rough Trade, Foreigen Media Group, VIA Records, Culture Records before starting up [the unit]. He's also a gifted musician (played in bands The Establishment, Scapegoat).
